The Doctors' Bio - Dr. Donald Faucett & Dr. Michael Manning

TRIO MEDI-SPA & WELLNESS is directed and supervised by both Dr. Donald Faucett & Dr. Michael Manning.

Dr. Faucett is a renowned oculoplastic surgeon with honors such as listings as “Best Doctors in America” by Woodward & White’s and Best Opthamologists in America, to name a few. A true believer in cutting edge technology, Dr. Faucett participated in the original FDA investigation for the uses of BOTOX during his oculoplastic training at Duke University in 1987. When Allergan Pharmaceuticals purchased the BOTOX rights, Dr. Faucett then participated in the second investigation of BOTOX. He was the first MD in Mississippi selected by Allergan Pharmaceuticals to teach other physicians on the cosmetic uses of BOTOX. Providing patients an all inclusive environment for everything from salon services and spa treatments to aesthetic medical procedures has proven to be a beautiful combination for TRIO MEDI-SPA & WELLNESS and the practice of Dr. Donald Faucett. Dr. Faucett’s vision from the inception of TRIO in 2001 was to found a medical spa and wellness facility that would be aggressive in helping prevent the development of health problems. And, so TRIO was born. Under Dr. Donald Faucett’s guidance, TRIO has established itself as a haven for transformation through services offered in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Dr. Faucett received his MD at the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Medicine. His completed his fellowship at Duke University Medical Center with a specialization in Oculoplastic Surgery and Ocular Oncology.

Dr. Manning
Dr. Manning is board certified in anesthesia and interventional pain management.  He completed his internship at Methodist Hospital in Memphis, TN.  He completed his anesthesia residency at Wake Forest in Winston-Salem, NC in 1995.  The Wake Forest program is widely considered among the top anesthesia programs in the country.  Dr. Manning has been in private practice in Jackson, MS since 1995.  He founded the pain program at Methodist Hospital, served as President of Physicians Anesthesia Group at St. Dominic Hospital, and is past President of the Mississippi Society of Anesthesiologists.

Dr. Manning began his aesthetic training with Dr. Faucett and has been certified in aesthetic injection techniques, including BOTOX and dermal fillers.  Dr. Manning trained with Dr. Bruce Katz at the world renowned JUVA Skin and Laser Center in New York.  He also trained with Dr. John Kingsley in the managment of vein disorders at the Alabama vein Center in Birmingham, AL.  Dr. Manning has been certified in the use of laser technology to treat lower extremity vein disorders.

Dr. Manning brings a unique set of skills to TRIO.  His extensive anesthesia training enhances the safety of all procedures done at TRIO.  His interventional pain training involved numerous procedures requiring expert and highly accurate technical injection techniques.

Dr. Manning has a particular interest in non-invasive aesthetic procedures, vein disorders, nutrition and weight loss management, and the field of anti-agin medicine.
Dr. Manning is a member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, the International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine, and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.

Dr. Manning has created 2 new components at TRIO.  The Mississippi Vein Institute and the TRIO Medical Weight Loss Program.  Dr. Manning brings a  dynamic quality to TRIO and is totally committed to excellence in all that he does.
